The aluminum cycle

In line with a true circular economy, not only can Doluflex® panels be remelted at the end of their lifecycle, but—where the alloy specifications allow—the aluminum used to produce them is itself largely sourced from recycled material.

The benefits

The environmental benefits are significant: producing 1 kg of recycled aluminum requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce 1 kg of primary aluminum from extracted ore. Using recycled aluminum therefore saves valuable energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, decreases mining activity, and minimizes the costs and impacts of material disposal.
